How to make pap

Pap is maize serving of food made from wet maize starch. It has a characteristic tart taste that makes persons crave it. It is processed from dry white or yellow maize. After processing it we get the raw pap which is then arranged with warm water before serving as a meal.

Procedure

-Soak the maize in water for about 2days making certain you change the water every 12hours (This permits the kernels to ferment)

-Wash the maize methodically and blend the maize till it becomes a glossy paste (To give it a different flavour you can blend in some ginger)

-Using a sieve , filter the maize through with water into a distinct bowl. This distincts the husk and other sediments from the liquid.

-Let the slurry (liquid mixture) resolve for about 2hours. This process divides the water from the sieved maize.

-Pour out the surplus water and leave the pap to sit for two more days (This advances its appearance) making sure you change the water every 12hours

-Finally, the pap it ready. You can now store it in the frig till you are arranged to arrange it

To arrange pap:::

-Dissolve the semi-solid pap in freezing water and blend till it becomes a slurry

-Pour in boiling water in a circular latest trend while rousing vigorously till it condenses

Add some milk and sugar that is the end.
